Euroderm Plus IV Reinforced Iodine

Disposable sterile adhesive dressing made of polyurethane film reinforced with a layer of polyester non-woven fabric. The polyurethane layer with povidone iodine, impermeable to liquids and bacteria, but highly permeable to water vapour and oxygen. It guarantees a continuous antimicrobial action. The polyester non-woven layer allows the patient to move freely, leaving the dressing firmly snug around the catheter post, thus ensuring excellent locking. The characteristics of the dressing avoid maceration of the skin and the risk of infection in the periwound area, leaving it dry; The transparency of the film allows continuous monitoring of the insertion site without the need to remove the dressing. The flexibility, conformability and low allergic capacity of the film guarantee greater patient comfort and the particular shape of the dressing with longitudinal cut (“U” cut) makes the application easy for the fixation and protection of the insertion points of peripheral and central venous cannulas and catheters. Euroderm I.V. Reinforced is equipped with two waterproof strips useful both for transcribing the insertion date and for increasing the anchorage of the device. Impermeability to liquids allows the patient to carry out regular daily hygiene activities. The dressing can be removed atraumatically and without release of residue. Euroderm I.V. reinforced iodine is latex free.
