Silvermed is a sterile island dressing with a central highly absorbent non adherent pad with silver. Thanks to its metallic silver micronized net, preserves the microenvironment of the wound, stimulates the development of granulation tissue and acts as an antibacterial for wounds, ulcers, pressure sores, burns, minor abrasions and donor sites. Silvermed is hypoallergenic, air-permeable and allows the transpiration of skin with a painless removal. The high conformability of the elastic backing material allows the maximum degree of fit of the plaster to the skin and to irregular anatomical parts of the body. The dressing doesn’t release on the wound any residues of silver.
