| COMPOSITION | Adhesive polyurethane film, polyurethane foam pad, and perforated polyurethane film. |
Sterile dressing with hypoallergenic adhesive border made of hydrocellular polyurethane foam The combination of the foam with the polyurethane outer film makes Euroderm foam plus excellent in liquid management, maintaining the ideal moist environment for the healing process. The high absorption capacity of the PU foam dressing makes it possible to reduce the number of changes while ensuring patient comfort and reduced costs in wound management. Absorbed fluids are evenly distributed within the foam pad, which conforms perfectly to the wound bed and the different anatomical locations of the body. Do not use on wounds with fragile perilesional skin. Can be used as a secondary dressing in combination with cavity dressings (gauze, alginates, CMC), under compression bandages for the treatment of venous ulcers, and in the presence of necrotic tissue or fibrinous lesions, in combination with Hydromed gel. The dressing can remain in situ for up to 7 days.
