Euroderm Iodine

Sterile, thin, adhesive dressing in 100% polyurethane film with povidone-iodine, stretchable, transparent and adherent, writable, impermeable to liquids and bacteria but permeable to water vapour and oxygen so as not to macerate the skin, radiolucent and hypoallergenic, easily removed from the skin in an atraumatic way and without releasing residues. It guarantees a continuous antimicrobial action. The pre-engraved adhesive protection paper is easily removable without contamination of the dressing (aseptic technique). The high conformability of the support allows easy application on difficult prominences and anatomical locations of the body, not restricting movement and ensuring painless detachment. Its transparency allows continuous monitoring of the wound without the need to remove the dressing, its impermeability and water resistance offer the patient the possibility of taking a regular shower or bath. The edges of the dressing do not roll up and the dressing is removed atraumatically without releasing sticky residues and without damaging the superficial layers of the skin. The protection paper can be equipped with a grid to allow the measurement of the lesion. The characteristic of impermeability to microorganisms reduces the risk of secondary infections.
