Kit for the fixation of cannulas and catheters, consisting of a sterile adhesive dressing in 1OO% polyurethane film with longitudinal insertion, stretchable, transparent, impermeable to liquids and bacteria but permeable to vapour, radiolucent, hypoallergenic, easily removable from the skin in an atraumatic way and without release of residues.
At the center of the dressing there is a gauze pad with high absorbency and non-adherent power that retains exudates, minimizing the risk of maceration of the skin.
The package also contains an additional gauze swab to be placed under the tube, for greater patient comfort.
The strip of non-woven (polyester) tape allows the outflow to be fixed, in order to ensure greater safety against accidental leakage of the needle.
The dressing maintains the optimal moist microenvironment in order to promote wound healing. Intended use: to be used for the attachment of cannulas and catheters.
